Authors wishing to contribute to the conference are invited to submit a two-page abstract. Authors will receive notification of acceptance of their proposed contribution. The conference publications will include the accepted abstracts (in both printed and CD proceedings) and the submitted full papers (CD proceedings only). Although the submission of full papers is not mandatory, unless required by mini-symposia organizers, authors are encouraged to support accepted abstracts by full papers. Organizers of invited symposia and special sessions may invite contributors to deliver full length papers to be reviewed, and if accepted, published in special issues of international journals. Note that the dimensions of the poster will be strictly enforced due to the need to make them compatible with the display areas. All material to fix the posters to the placards will be supplied by the organizers and available from the secretariat of the Conference. We ask you to follow the remaining instructions in the poster as close as possible in order to ensure graphical consistency among the different presentations.
You may resubmit as many versions of your abstract as required, but only the last submitted version is considered by the selection committee. Applicants that intend to submit contributions must meet the following deadlines:
Abstract submission: February 20th, 2009
Notification of acceptance: March 15th, 2009
Abstract revisions: June 20th, 2009 Paper submissions: June 30th, 2009 Author registration: June 30th, 2009
Confirmation of participation in the conference by the authors will be required when abstracts are accepted. Only confirmed presentations by registered participants will be included in the proceedings and final programme.
