In this MS, we primarily solicit papers on fundamental structural topology optimization considering multiphysics system and stress constraints and future research directions for structural static and dynamic failures. Also in-depth relevant research articles, review articles and short communications for conventional topology optimization methods will be considered. We hope to invite some researchers from all around world to discuss lessons learnt from the analysis, synthesis and application of topologically optimized layouts considering multiphysics system and failure constraints. It is our belief that this mini-symposium will provide a good chance for researchers who have worked on multiphysics topology optimization for structural static and dynamic failure. We expect that many important aspects of topology optimization will be covered in the symposium.
